Founded Expansion into Cary, NC

We’re welcoming a new member to the Founded Communities Family!

Cary Founded will open in the heart of Downtown Cary in the Fall of 2023. We are thrilled to continue our support of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Triangle with a larger focus on Cary, NC.

Why Cary?

Since its inception, Cary has focused on making their downtown area a thriving hub for business, work, and play. Cary Founded will assist the city’s long-term plan to expand and transform Downtown Cary through increased investment in businesses and homes. The city’s goal of expanding residential development will contribute to the welcoming family atmosphere of the downtown area while also providing a boost in customers to Downtown Cary’s growing business ecosystem. We are fortunate to have Chatham Street Commercial as partners in our next Founded location. Founded in 2011, Chatham Street Commercial strives to develop and foster the Downtown Cary community. From its beautiful shops to its engaging events, Chatham Street is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern development and will serve as the perfect space for the Cary Founded community. Special thanks to our partners at Chatham Street, Jordan Gussenhoven and George Jordan for all of their hard work and help in making Cary Founded a reality. 

We look forward to partnering with the Cary Chamber, Cary Municipality, and other ecosystem builders to support the existing entrepreneurial community in Cary and grow the reach even further.

Cary Founded’s Vision

By expanding to Cary, we’re expanding our support of our community members as well as the Triangle’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. We are excited about the opportunities this new location brings to Cary’s social and economic growth and development. It is our goal to use our resources, community, and ecosystem to further connect local professionals from different industries and help build an even stronger sense of connection within the Triangle area. We also plan on utilizing our new space for events such as workshops, seminars, networking sessions, panel discussions, and other community gatherings. Our hope is that these events will help current entrepreneurs grow their businesses as well as inspire additional members of the community to explore entrepreneurship.

Founded Communities is a community-building organization that uses coworking and flexible office space as an economic and social impact tool. We are committed to connecting entrepreneurs and helping them reach their goals through our programming, resources, services, and events. Our expansion to Cary provides us with a great opportunity to increase accessibility across the Triangle area while still providing quality resources and creating meaningful connections between business owners in our community.
